Budapest Airline
The Budapest Airline of Hungary is MALEV.
Malev was founded in 1946 in Budapest. The state-owned company was
turned in 1992 to an incorporated company. 30% of Malev were bought by
the Italian Alitalia and 5% by Simest investments. In 1997 both block
of shares were bought by Hungarian banks.
In the beginning of 2007 Malev was bought by the Russian flight alliance AiRUnion.
The domestic airport of Malev is Budapest. Malev flies to 74 destinations in European countries as well as Asia.
The Budapest Airline has following aircraft fleet:

- 5 Boeing 737-800 NG
- 7 Boeing 737-700 NG
- 6 Boeing 737-600 NG
- 5 Fokker 70
- 4 CRJ 200 ER
