Budapest Parliament
The parliament in Budapest has a length of 268 metres and is located directly next to the Danube river.
The Budpaest Parliament is one of the most known sights of Budapest. Role Model was the Palace of Westminster in London.

The parliament was built between 1885 to 1904. 1000 labourer were
needed to settle 40 millions of stones. The building was opened in
1896, but finnished in 1904.

Steindl has never seen his finnished creation. He went blind before the
parliament was finnished .
The parliament has 10 inner courtyards, 13 lifts, 27 entrances, 29
stairwells and 691 rooms (200 rooms for official events and welcomes).
